Poems for my fatherland - items 4

I pray the verses at the altar of my father

I pray the verses at the grave of my maternal grandfather

I pray the verse to remember pictures of my brother

I pray the verses for the abandoned graves the length throughout country.

I pray the verses for the soul who to have died.

I pray the verses for eternal and fatherland ... remember forever:

Barbaric and brutality of war.

Oh the people injured handicapped this here

The beggar gone distant home

Why not come back visit the grave of their mother

Twenty years have long missing and father not return.

Twenty years

Who run up forests hiding

Who burying dead bodies to cross the sea

Who go renovated* death do not return

Mother to sing words lullaby country

I only the remains country  with two white hands.

Bài thơ cho Tổ Quốc tôi - Bài thứ tư

Tôi khấn những câu thơ bên bàn thờ của cha tôi

Tôi khấn những câu thơ bên nấm mồ của ngoại tôi

Tôi khấn những câu thơ để nhớ mãi hình hài dáng dấp của anh tôi

Tôi khấn những câu thơ cho những nấm mồ hoang suốt theo chiều dài đất nước

Tôi khấn những câu thơ cho những oan hồn

Tôi khấn những câu thơ cho muôn đời và Tổ Quốc...nhớ mãi:

Sự dã man và tàn khốc của chiến tranh.

 Hỡi người thương phế kia ơi

Ra đi hành khất xa xôi quê nhà

Sao không về thăm mộ mẹ già

Hai mươi năm biền biệt mà cha chưa về.

Hai mươi năm

Ai chạy nơi rừng thiêng lẫn trốn

Ai vùi thây vượt biển

Ai đi cải tạo chết không về

Mẹ hát ru chi lời xứ sở

Ta còn non nước trắng tay không.
